Waypoint Human Capital Announces Launch
FREDERICKSBURG, Va., September 14, 2021 – Waypoint Human Capital, a new Fredericksburg, Virginia-based human capital consulting firm, announced its launch today. Waypoint will provide recruiting and staff augmentation services for small and mid-sized companies in the private sector and defense contracting market.
Waypoint is led by Founder and Partner Matthew Giese who has spent his career in the defense contracting market with 16 years in technical recruiting and 20 years in business development roles. Before launching Waypoint, he worked at Dependable Global Solutions, a cybersecurity company which sold to Arlington Capital – becoming Centauri and now KBR. He supported small and large companies in scaling their recruiting operations to support high volume personnel placements in technical and cleared roles. Giese is also a former founding member and CEO of locally operated First Responder K9 Service Dogs (FRK9), a nonprofit that trained and supplied service dogs to department Peer Support Teams throughout Northern Virginia and Stafford. Additionally, Giese remains active in his community supporting various charitable activities as well as assisting those seeking career change and assistance.
